Koenigsegg Agera RS broke world speed record!

Not long ago we told you about Hennessey Venom F5 which is going to break the world speed record; however, while someone making promises, others do their job. Rank of the fastest car now belongs to Koenigsegg Agera RS!

To measure the world records was chosen Nevada State Route 160 located in the city of Paramp, Nevada, United States (the track was blocked during the race). The place driver's place was occupied by Niklas Lillieu.

In the end average top speed was 444,6 km/h (277,9 m/h). Moreover second time Agera RS accelerate to 457,5 km/h! However, according to the rules official speed records is the average top speed during both races.

The last record was broken by Bugatti Veyron in 2010 with the speed of 431 km/h. Also, let’s keep in mind that Hennessey assures us that their Venom F5 might accelerate to 300 mph!
