Koenigsegg Agera RS Set a New Speed Record!

It seems like Swedish sports car win one more victory accelerating to the highest speed across serial cars!

Note that information has not been proved yet; however, yesterday Koenigsegg report that their Agera RS model beat the last record and accelerate to 277,9 mph (447,24 km/h).

Record speed was reached in the desert of Nevada by Niklas Lilja. In accordance with generally accepted standards, the speed was taken average and race was round trip accounting to wind speed. Data was recorded in a separate module — Racelogic.

If the result will be approved, it will be an official new record. Remember that the last record set by Bugatti Veyron Super Sport — 267,8 mph (429,7 km/h), which entered the Guinness Book of Records. Bugatti assures that new Chiron is able to accelerate to 288 mph, but for now, officially there is only 261 mph.

By the way, Hennessey is going to accelerate their Venom F5 till 300mph or more!
