Ampere Electric Cars brought electric 3 wheels prototype at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Their first car prototype was simply named “1”. The design of this vehicle includes itself classic shapes and quite unusual decision. Developers assure us that this car was made for people who want to ride mostly during the weekends.
Chassis of the Ampere 1 was created from the welded pipes. The electric motor moving the rear wheel by Kevlar belt. According to the company, Ampere 1 could ride 160 km on the single charge.
Ampere Electric Cars have already opened the order with a $200 prepayment, total vehicle price is $9 900. The company is going to start mass production in the upcoming year.
